Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) on a Medical Surgical Floor in Wheatland, Wyoming. The position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for adult patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The role requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification; experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification.
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. Duties include developing and revising care plans, providing direct patient care, delegating tasks, evaluating patient responses, and maintaining thorough documentation. The role may involve supervision of staff, participation in research activities, and engagement in initiatives to improve patient outcomes. The position requires physical agility, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond to unexpected patient care needs.
