Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The nurse will interpret medical plans, assess patient conditions, and ensure safety and competency in care delivery. The position requires clinical judgment, patient-centered care, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Massachusetts; clinical nursing experience of 0-1 year; familiarity with practical nursing principles; knowledge of medical terminology; excellent verbal and communication skills; ability to screen and triage acute patients
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in emergency care settings
- Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for maintaining detailed reports and records, administering medications, monitoring patient vital signs and symptoms, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching. The role demands constant use of vision, talking, and hearing to communicate effectively and monitor patient needs.
