Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Days (Weekends) Located at the healthcare providers Midtown facility. This position involves providing direct patient care on a 41-bed Medical Surgical floor, primarily during 12-hour daytime shifts on weekends, with potential for float assignments within the campus and nearby facilities.

Job Details

• Position Description: MS RN - Days (Weekends) with a contract length of 13 weeks, starting on 09/21/2026. The role requires working 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current active compact license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), minimum of 2 years of strong Medical Surgical (MS) experience, recent EPIC charting experience, and at least 1 travel assignment.
• Schedule: 12-hour daytime shifts, weekends required, 36 hours guaranteed weekly, with on-call or callback duties not specified.
• Additional Information: The unit has a capacity of 41 beds, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 during the day and 1:6-7 during night shifts. The role may involve precepting students and new hires, with experienced leadership and CNA support. Cross campus float within skillset may be needed, with a 2-hour notice for cross-campus float. The environment is a teaching hospital with experiences in post-surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, CHF, and other acute care populations.
