Job Summary:
The profession is Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Detroit, Michigan. This position involves providing direct clinical care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, supervising staff, and supporting the facility's clinical operations to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

Job Details:

• Location: Detroit, Michigan
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing, and the ability to work in the United States
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) are a plus
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role also involves supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated and supporting the organization's Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality clinical practices, staff competency, and effective resource management related to patient care.
