Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing for a facility located in Florence, Alabama. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a Med-Surg floor, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient recovery in a fast-paced clinical environment, supporting the healthcare team in delivering effective and compassionate care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; associated educational credentials; located in Alabama or willing to relocate; registered nurse licensure in the state of Alabama
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, Meditech electronic health record system familiarity, and team-oriented personality; ability to take ownership of patient care
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The unit maintains an 18-bed capacity with a patient ratio of approximately 1:6. Equipment used includes standard Meditech electronic health record systems. The unit operates in a fast-paced environment requiring teamwork and a flexible approach to patient management.
