Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse (ER) - Tulare, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the emergency department based on established standards of care and the nursing process. The position includes supervising and directing assigned nursing staff, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to ensure quality patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQIBLS) certification from an approved vendor; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-ALS; AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ARC-PALS; AHA-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or ARC-NALS; experience in an acute care facility is preferred; at least 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency care settings is highly desirable.
• Additional Information: The role requires collecting relevant patient data, analyzing health assessments, developing and implementing care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, providing patient and family education, participating in discharge planning, and delegating duties appropriately. All associates must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
