Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in West Bloomfield, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care within the labor and delivery department. The nurse will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, supervise, and document care and patient education. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. The position offers an engaging and supportive environment to contribute meaningfully to maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification - Must have 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - Post-Partum experience required
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
Skills: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the department - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel
Additional Information: - The candidate must be available to start on 08/25/2026. - The position is located at 6777 W Maple Road in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
