Job Summary:
The profession is Registered Nurse (RN), specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) units located in Denver, Colorado. This position involves providing specialized acute care within a transplant and hematology/oncology setting. The role offers an opportunity to work in a highly regarded, nationally recognized transplant center actively engaged in advanced clinical trials and innovative treatments.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1-year current hospital acute care experience in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) or Hematology/Oncology units, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, and oncology certification (preferred but not required).
  • Preferred Qualifications: BMT/Hematology/Oncology experience, experience with chemotherapy administration, central line draws, and existing familiarity with Meditech or Onco electronic medical records.
  • Additional Information: The unit is a nationally ranked transplant center participating in numerous phase 1 clinical trials and a growing CART (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell Therapy) program. The team is experienced, outgoing, and personable, with modern equipment such as Baxter IV pumps and ICU medical chemo adapters. The unit maintains a patient ratio of approximately 1:6, with higher acuity cases managed proactively.
