Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are needed in the area for a night shift position. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to telemetry, post-operative surgical, orthopedic, and general surgical patients. The position requires reading and measuring strips, managing drips such as insulin and heparin, and utilizing EPIC electronic charting. Candidates must have current Med Surg or Telemetry experience, a valid Iowa (IA) license or multi-state compact license, and meet all specified qualification criteria.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience, American Heart Association (AHA) or ARC/Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications, valid Iowa or multi-state license, skills specific to Medical Surgical and Telemetry disciplines, and proficiency with EPIC charting
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience, EPIC charting experience
• Additional Requirements: Work history must demonstrate 24 months of current Medical Surgical and Telemetry experience, references from within the past 24 months, and a valid driver's license
• Submission Requirements: Rapid interview response via phone call or text from a 405 area code, professional references, and current nursing license documentation
• Orientation: Scheduled for 09/08/2026 and 09/14/2026
• Holiday and Weekend Rotation: Will be scheduled to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays and every 3rd weekend as applicable
• Other Details: No call requirement, unit features 16 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1, caring for telemetry, post-op surgical, orthopedic, and general medical surgical patients
