Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room First Assistant (ORFA) in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves assisting surgeons during procedures, including suturing and wound closure, within a growing surgical unit that will soon welcome additional orthopedic surgeons. The position supports a team-focused environment and requires providing high-quality care in the operating room setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. No call, no holidays.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CNOR. Must have at least 2 years of experience working in surgical or operating room environments.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with general, urology, and orthopedic surgeries; scrub experience is preferred.
- Additional Information: Assisting surgeons during procedures, suturing, wound closure in a fast-paced OR setting. The role involves supporting a team of orthopedic and general surgeons with surgical procedures. The facility provides scrub attire in black, and team members are expected to work well both independently and within a team environment.
