Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Durant, Oklahoma. The role involves providing obstetrical care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases for patients over 20 weeks pregnant. The RN will utilize the Nursing Process to deliver safe, effective care, demonstrating leadership, critical thinking, and clinical competencies in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 7 PM 7 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications; at least 3 years of experience in labor and delivery; no specific education or degree requirements listed.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float to postpartum or nursery may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Unit size: 6 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) beds.
- Patient ratio: 1:1 or 2:1.
