Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This position involves working as part of a family birth place team, providing evidenced-based care to mothers and newborns. The role includes caring for patients during all stages of labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care, with an emphasis on compassionate and clinical expertise. The facility has a longstanding reputation for patient-centered care and recently achieved Pathway to Excellence designation.

Job Details:

  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends. Call rotation is typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, but may vary.
  • Schedule: Working 36 hours per week on a rotating 12-hour night shift, starting on 08/25/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required or must be obtained by 10/31/2025.
  • Preferred Qualifications: RN charge experience.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility due to radius rule.
    • Proof of flu vaccination or willingness to obtain by 10/31/2025.
    • Nurturing team environment focused on patient-centric care and evidenced-based practices.
    • Out-of-state agencies must register in the Colorado Department of Health and Environment system with a CO address.
    • Ensure accurate SS# and DOB in the Medefis system to avoid onboarding issues.
    • Position starting on 08/25/2026; minimum hours per week: 36.
