Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) on the medical surgical floor located in St. Louis, Missouri. This position involves providing direct patient care across all age groups in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The role requires a team-oriented approach, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality while maintaining professional accountability.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 1900-0730; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN License (meets criteria to be eligible for licensure in Missouri or is currently licensed in Missouri), BLS certification from American Heart Association, 0 years of experience accepted, position located in St. Louis, Missouri
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification from American Heart Association
• Float: Float rotation may be required depending on staffing needs
• Additional Information: Utilizes nursing process to provide patient care to a diverse population, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties that align with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mission, and Values. Must be able to meet physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs., and work in high-risk exposure conditions to blood and body fluids.
