Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse is needed in the California region for a facility-based position. This role involves supporting obstetricians, surgical scrub technicians, registered nurses, and charge nurses in the Labor and Delivery Department. The nurse will execute clinical procedures following established protocols while providing patient-centered care, education, and support in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse licensure, Basic Life Support (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, Trauma Level I and II experience, travel experience, charting system experience in Epic.
- Additional Information: The incumbent will provide support during high-risk obstetric procedures, assist with sterile exams, deliveries, neonatal assessments, and postpartum care. Must adhere to all safety, privacy, and operational policies.
