Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) located in Rockford, Illinois. This position involves floating to the Emergency Department at a facility that provides Level 1 Trauma Center services. The role requires evening and night shifts, with rotations including weekends and holidays. The RN will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing clinical expertise and adhering to hospital policies and standards of care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening / Night Shift hours (12-hour shifts) with a minimum of 36 hours per week and rotation including weekends and holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois RN licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and either Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Triage Nursing Specialty (TNS). Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required. Minimum 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Additional Information: The position involves utilizing the nursing process, administering medications and treatments, documenting care, performing assessments, developing care plans, participating in performance improvement activities, and supporting a patient-centered approach through critical thinking and escalation when necessary.
