Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse is needed in Summit, WI. This position involves supporting a Level II Trauma Center with a focus on adult and pediatric surgical cases, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, and other specialties. The role requires assisting in surgeries, supporting perioperative processes, and ensuring patient safety and care standards are maintained.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification; 2 years of experience in operating room settings, with strong experience in orthopedic (total joints, femoral/tibial rodding) and neuro (laminectomies, burr holes) cases, and familiarity with adult and pediatric patient types.
• Preferred Qualifications: AORN certification is advantageous.
• Float: No floating required.
• Additional Information: The facility provides a one-week orientation with a preceptor and meetings with educators. Shifts include weekend rotations, on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time, and holiday call rotations. Scrub colors are provided, and parking is free.
