Job Summary

Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Belfast, Maine. This position involves working four nine-hour days from 6:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., with call responsibilities and holiday call coverage. The role requires flexibility for late finishes every 3-4 Fridays and includes rotating weekend and holiday call. The RN will provide patient care in a small surgical unit with a focus on general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology, and endoscopy procedures.

Job Details

• Shift: 6:45 a.m. 4:15 p.m. (Days), with late finishes every 3-4 Fridays and on-call duties starting Friday at 4:15 p.m. through Monday at 6:45 a.m.
• Schedule: Four nine-hour days, total minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), two years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience preferred but not required.
• Position Type: Full-time, ongoing coverage for leave.
• Unit Information: Small surgical unit with three operating rooms and two procedure rooms, equipped with Stryker, Storz, Steris, and other surgical equipment.
• Patient Population: Endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology.
• Personality Fit & Dress Code: Professional, adaptable, and team-oriented; hospital scrubs provided in blue.
• Additional Information: HCPs must have experience working in surgical settings and be prepared for call responsibilities as indicated.
