Job Details:

• Location: Highlands, North Carolina
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); educational background in nursing; valid license to practice in North Carolina; no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Past telemetry or cardiac care experience, experience caring for geriatric or rehab patients (Swing Bed Patients), wound care skills
• Type of Equipment: Standard medical/surgical equipment and cardiac monitoring devices
• Patient Ratios: 6-7 patients per nurse on the unit
• Type of Facility: Acute care unit with 24 beds, serving an affluent community with concierge service expectations
• Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to adhere to unit-specific policies, including dress code (navy or navy top with white bottoms), and demonstrate excellent teamwork skills. The unit features current technology and a strong culture of collaboration and professional development.
