Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) at a healthcare facility located in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical floor, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. The position offers an opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment with a variety of clinical responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, at least 2 years of experience in medical surgical nursing, and proficiency with MEDITECH electronic health record system
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical, psychiatric, or post-operative care; familiarity with telemetry equipment
• Float: Float rotation may be required as a second nurse, including experience with Telemetry and Emergency Department settings
• Additional Information: The unit typically has 22 beds per shift, with patient ratios of 6:1 up to 7:1. Candidates must be able to schedule shifts to meet operational needs and adhere to unit protocols.
