Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in an acute care facility in West Virginia. The role involves providing nursing care in a busy, fast-paced unit focusing on telemetry monitoring, patient assessments, and support for post-procedure patients. The position requires commitment to patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN), certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA), and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpreting strips; familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Additional Information: Travel assignment includes a comprehensive orientation consisting of one day of computer training and one day shadowing with a preceptor, followed by independent practice. The unit handles a variety of cardiac and medical patients, with responsibilities including EKGs, vital signs, bladder scans, and support therapies such as BiPAP and CPAP. Float requirements may involve coverage across various hospital units, including ICU and stepdown, with all float assignments within the candidates skill set.
