Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with applicable standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, providing health education, counseling, and supportive therapy to promote patient well-being.

Job Details:

• Location: Denver, Colorado
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Qualifications: - ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited nursing school required. - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required. - Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred. - No minimum years of experience required.
• Skills: HEALTH ASSESSMENT, HEALTH TEACHING, HEALTH COUNSELING, THERAPY AND TREATMENT, NURSING CARE, PATIENT REFERRAL, TREATMENT PLAN MONITORING, CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION, RESOURCE UTILIZATION, MEDICAL FUNCTIONS, REGISTERED NURSE EXPERIENCE
• Additional Information:
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need.
  • May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
