Job Summary:
Pediatric Clinic Nurse Practitioner San Antonio, TX. This role involves providing general nursing care to pediatric patients within a clinical or medical office setting. The position includes administering medications, assisting physicians and healthcare providers with treatments, and supporting patient education to promote positive health outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Registered Nursing program; Bachelors Degree preferred; RN licensure in good standing in the state of Texas or a compact state; American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification; six (6) months to one (1) year of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Pediatrics (PEDS) rheumatology patients; EPIC and insurance authorization experience highly preferred.
• Additional Information: Provides general nursing care to patients in a pediatric rheumatology clinic. Administers medications, prepares equipment, supports physicians and healthcare providers during treatments, and documents patient information. Ensures patient safety, adheres to clinical policies and standards, and utilizes evidence-based nursing practices. Communicates effectively across the care team and maintains thorough electronic patient documentation.
