Job Summary:
Critical Care or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Concord, North Carolina. This role involves providing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, vascular interventions, and electrophysiology treatments. The RN will work in a 12-bed unit with a focus on recovery and post-procedure monitoring, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Location: 920 Church Street North, Concord, NC 28025
• Shift: 8-hour shifts, primarily 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with variable shifts preferred and a schedule cycle of 4-5 weeks
• Required Qualifications:
  Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  Education & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of critical care, PACU, or CCU experience, with experience in neurovascular checks including Dopplers, site management (femoral or radial access), and post-anesthesia care; familiarity with site compression devices, hemodynamic monitoring, and occasional use of temporary pacing wires or arterial lines.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Doppler assessments, site management, and post-procedure patient monitoring.
• Float: Possibility to float to electrophysiology (EP) and procedural areas (manager will discuss this upon interview).
• Additional Information:
  The RN will support a unit that predominantly cares for patients undergoing R and L Heart Catheterizations, TAVR procedures, Watchman device placements, vascular procedures, and EP device and ablation treatments. Patients may receive moderate sedation, requiring vigilant monitoring. The unit has bedside monitors and a nurses station with telemetry, and utilizes EPIC electronic medical records, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Philips monitors. Scrub attire provided, with designated free parking. The culture is collaborative, with a high rate of repeat travelers and positive feedback on teamwork. No holidays or weekends are required, and all RTO requests must be approved by the manager.
