Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves floating to all PCU and intermediate care unit floors with a focus on cardiac populations. The position requires managing patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and C/P, including administering cardiac drips like Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors. The incumbent may also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels. The role is suitable for qualified professionals experienced in similar settings and proficient with EPIC electronic medical records.

Job Details:

• Location: Atlanta, Georgia
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications (BLS, ACLS), minimum of 2 years experience in a comparable-sized facility, experience floating between floors in cardiac care, current EPIC EMR proficiency, minimal reason for time off (RTO)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors), familiarity with telemetry beds, ability to float across multiple floors in a fast-paced environment
• Additional Information: The role involves managing cardiac patients with acuity levels requiring continuous monitoring and administration of complex therapies. Candidates must load all demographic information, including a badge-appropriate photograph, as part of the application.
