Description

Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care at a healthcare facility located in Wenatchee, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, critical care environment during night shifts. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team, develop and implement patient care plans, and ensure adherence to all applicable policies and standards.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must have a Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); ability to float as a sitter; must adhere to facility policies and unit standards; functions within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and maintains current knowledge of nursing practices.
  • Job functions: Coordinates and provides compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process; develops, implements, and reassesses individualized care plans; administers medications and completes nursing procedures; evaluates discharge plans; documents assessments and interventions accurately; performs holistic assessments and responds appropriately; meets physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs; educates patients and families; delegates care to assistive personnel; participates in performance improvement processes; collaborates with the healthcare team; maintains a safe, clean environment.
  • Additional Information: The role requires providing critical care to ICU patients, executing evidence-based procedures, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of workflows and policies.
