Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse in a mental health and wellness facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves providing compassionate psychiatric care on an adult psychiatric unit within a healthcare organization. The position is scheduled for day shifts, and candidates will contribute to a team dedicated to mental health treatment and safety.

Job Details:

Position: Psychiatric Nurse
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
Schedule: 36 hours per week (minimum)
Start Date: 08/17/2026
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, experience with de-escalation of patients with mental illness, adaptability with healthcare documentation, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Behavioral health experience and familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system.
Additional Information: The unit is an adult psychiatric unit with 48 beds over 3 units, utilizing vital sign machines and lab equipment. Staff includes nurses, clinical care technicians, and mental health technicians. The facility emphasizes safety and teamwork, with onsite security and duress buttons. CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training can be provided if needed. The environment supports a collaborative culture, with modern equipment and a focus on patient safety.
