Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, supervising care staff, and coordinating patient care plans within a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN will focus on patient safety and effective communication to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only), minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience, ICU experience, and location requirements at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, documents assessments and interventions accurately, participates in patient rehabilitation programs, initiates discharge planning, ensures continuity of care, delegates appropriately, and maintains a safe work environment. Contributes to team-building activities and maintains communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and clinical training needs. Assumes charge responsibilities post-orientation and pursues ongoing professional development.
