Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician position is based in Fargo, North Dakota. This role involves supporting surgical procedures within a busy, level 1 trauma acute care facility with over 25 operating rooms. The technician will assist with orthopedic, neuro, ENT, plastics, and general surgeries, utilizing various surgical systems while maintaining patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 08/31/2026.
• Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a surgical technician, BLS (AHA) certification, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, license to submit, and must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at least one week prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic, neuro, ENT, plastics, trauma, and robotics systems such as Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Striker.
• Additional Information: The candidate must demonstrate good interview availability, have experience in a large hospital setting, and be comfortable with extended shifts, including possible late stays. Clinicians may float to other Fargo campuses as needed, and must badge in and out at the facility.
• Notes: Must not be a traveler residing within 60 miles of the facility; candidates living between 60 and 80 miles will have a reduced local rate. Previous employment with the facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
