Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Cardiovascular Open Heart (OH) Specialty position located in Winchester, Virginia. This role involves supporting cardiovascular open heart surgeries within a surgical services unit. The position requires a skilled professional with relevant experience and certification to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

Position: CVOR Tech (Certified Surgical Technologist) in the Surgical Services department
Location: Winchester, VA, 1840 Amherst Street
Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts from 6:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a total of 36 hours per week
Openings: 1
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CVOR Tech experience, with an active VA State License (status must be specified)
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (or equivalent), VA State License (must specify status)
Travel: Virginia
Patient Population: Adults in an open heart surgical setting
Unit Features: Two CVOR rooms and one hybrid room, equipped with IABP, ECMO, Atricure machine, and Impella 5.5
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Required Skills: Proven experience as a CVOR Tech, familiarity with cardiac surgical equipment and procedures
Dress Code: Scrubs, blue
Additional Notes: On-call availability may include weekends with a 10-12 call duty cycle in a 4-week period; no float requirements
