Description
Job Summary
ICU Nurse Hospital-based care in a medical, neurological, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and renal patient population. Responsible for providing specialized critical care to complex patients outside of open heart surgery, with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3. This position requires a dedicated healthcare professional committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of practice; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); one year of relevant ICU experience; current drivers license or state ID; professional profile in the organization; completion of Ascension resume and license/certificate verification; two professional references.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex patient populations and critical care environments.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing complex patient conditions, adhering to hospital policies, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during shifts. Focused on delivering exceptional critical care across a variety of patient conditions.
