Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing opportunity available in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population, with a focus on acute assessment, intervention, and stabilization within a busy environment. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); 5 years of relevant experience; valid California State License uploaded within the last 2 weeks; valid certifications with expiration dates; two references obtained within the last year.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and PPE, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, triage unit experience.
• Additional Information: The position involves managing a daily census of 50-70 patients across 12 rooms with a patient mix including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and a unit secretary. Orientation consists of 24 hours; compliance requirements include completing labs within 3-5 days and providing a 7-year work history verification.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
