Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Oklahoma City. This role is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, supporting maternal and neonatal health during the childbirth process. The position involves working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment dedicated to maternal wellness and neonatal care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Required Qualifications: BLS, Critical Care or Emergency Fire Nurse (C-EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience in a hospital delivering 350-400 births monthly; located in the United States; strong patient care skills in labor and delivery settings
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Additional Information: May be required to float to postpartum units as needed. The unit has 15 labor beds, along with 7 antepartum and 4 pre/postpartum beds, with patient ratios estimated at 1:1 or 2:1. Equipment includes external fetal monitoring, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is EPIC.
