Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Department Nurse in Irving, TX. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery setting. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns. The position requires clinical expertise in labor delivery and postpartum care, with a focus on patient safety, education, and advocacy.

Job Details

Shift: Evenings, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 09/07/2026
Location: Irving, TX
Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Certifications/Degrees: AWHONN fetal monitoring certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
Relevant Experience: 2 years of labor and delivery experience preferred; candidates with relevant certifications and a focus on maternal-neonatal care are encouraged to apply
Schedule: Varied days, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Additional Information: Experience with fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation preferred; hospital scrubs provided; weekends required; one round of interview
