Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in a specialized unit, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with varying health needs within the PCU setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Tucson, Arizona
- Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN license. BLS certification is required. Clinical experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing. Professional certification related to acute or progressive care preferred.
- Additional Information: The RN will provide direct patient care, coordinate and delegate activities appropriately, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Documentation must be timely, accurate, and compliant with policies. The role may involve supervisory responsibilities over licensed and non-licensed personnel, and requires effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
