Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in the operating room environment. The role entails supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift with 8 hours shifts, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year of experience in operating room nursing, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and American Heart Association (AHA) compliance. Candidates must meet state licensing requirements and have appropriate certifications prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-volume surgical environments and familiarity with electronic health records.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be located at least 60 miles from the healthcare facility. All clinical staff must be fingerprinted and provide documentation of background check processing through the New Mexico Department of Health. Travelers may commence on a 14-day waiver while awaiting background check clearance but must be supervised.
