Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse located in a Level I trauma facility. This role involves providing high-acuity care in a fast-paced emergency department, with responsibilities including handling adult and pediatric patients, performing admission work, and working in a busy environment requiring efficient teamwork and clinical skills.
Job Details:
- Qualifications: Active FL or Compact license, AHS ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications required prior to start. Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency room settings, including prior travel experience in a Level 1 trauma facility. Must have experience with Cerner electronic medical records and be able to handle admission work for boarded patients.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Orientation scheduled for 9/21. Must pass EKG exam during orientation. Scrub colors: Royal Blue. May be required to float as determined by Jackson Health Systems. Must have prior Level I trauma experience and be capable of managing high patient acuity.
- Submission Requirements: FL or Compact license must be on file at the time of submission. All RTO requests must be included with submission.
