Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) specialist role is located in Anacortes, Washington. This position involves working a four-day workweek with dayshift hours from 07:00 to 17:30, typically spanning 10-hour shifts. The role supports the healthcare organization's surgical services, with on-call responsibilities to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Job Details:

• Location: Anacortes, Washington
• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call shifts required 4-5 times monthly. On-call duties include 3-4 weekday shifts from 17:30 to 07:00 and 1-2 weekend shifts from 07:00 Saturday to 07:00 Monday. On-call schedule is self-scheduling, with department flexibility for shift trades and future scheduling.
• Required Qualifications: Certified operating room (OR) specialist, with 0 years minimum experience necessary, valid certifications as required for OR procedures, and current licensure if applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with OR protocols and a familiarity with on-call procedures.
• Additional Information: Shifts are drafted on the 5th of each month and finalized by the 15th for the following calendar month. The department provides one sleep room, available on a first-come, first-serve basis for OR/PACU staff. Response time for on-call duties is 30 minutes.
