Description

Job Summary:
The intermediate care unit located in Tyler, Texas, is seeking qualified healthcare professionals for a night shift position. This role involves providing patient care in an interdisciplinary environment, with a focus on adult patients requiring intermediate level care. The position is scheduled for 12-hour night shifts, offering an opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: No minimum years of experience required; valid license in Texas or applicable state; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; competent in charting with Epic; experience with adult patient care; ability to manage IVs, perform wound care, and interpret arterial blood gases; proficient in managing respiratory devices and monitoring cardiac rhythms
  • Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in an intermediate care or similar setting; prior experience in trauma level I or II, community hospital environment, or LTAC experience; travel experience preferred
  • Travel Experience Required: Yes
  • Additional Information: The position involves adherence to specific compliance and onboarding procedures, including timely completion of core modules within 48 hours of contract signing and orientation conducted onsite. The candidate must have a state or compact license in hand at the time of submission. RTO requests must be specified at submission, and staff must wait one year before returning as travelers if previously employed in this role.
