Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position in Herrin, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures in a busy OR environment. The position offers the opportunity to work on a range of surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois Registered Nurse license, current CPR/BLS Card, ACLS certification, experience in operating room nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with heavy orthopedic, urology, spine procedures, or robotic surgeries; circulating experience preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other facilities as needed
• Additional Information: The RN will circulate during surgical procedures, adhering to SOPs and maintaining safety standards. The role involves assessing patients, developing and evaluating care plans, providing patient instructions, and documenting medical records diligently. The position requires professional communication to manage conflict and promote a healthy workplace environment. Continuing education and certification maintenance are expected as part of ongoing professional development.
