Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This night shift position involves providing specialized patient care in an adult intensive care setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services, monitoring critically ill patients, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Location: Indianapolis, IN
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Openings: 1 position, 0.9 FTE (full-time equivalent), total of 4 openings
- Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Years of Experience: 2 years preferred, 0 years minimum
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other in-patient areas when the home unit is low census
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 30
- Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
- Equipment includes Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, EV 1000
- EMR System: Epic
- Type of Patients: Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Substance Abuse Disorders, Endocrine Disorders, Psych Disorders
- Preferred Skills/Experience: CRRT, Epic
- Personality Fit: Team player, positive attitude, flexible, empathetic
- Dress Code: Scrubs in navy; unacceptable attire includes hoodies and non-Franciscan sweatshirts
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- Additional Details: Orientation includes modules to be completed on the first day, Epic training if needed, and one day of on-unit orientation.
- Reporting Location: Report to 3 east in Tower building; parking in employee designated parking spots is required.
