Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in Summit, New Jersey. This role involves assisting in the care of surgical patients by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during procedures. The technician is expected to have an understanding of surgical processes, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and ensure the maintenance of a sterile environment to promote patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/07/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technician; High School Graduate or GED; graduate from an accredited program; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in operating room settings.
• Additional Information: Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds. Must tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and walking. The role involves following physicians' and registered nurses' instructions closely, adhering to hospital policies, and practicing standard precautions to maintain a safe environment.
