Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN Rochester, NY. This position involves supporting cardiovascular procedures within the cardiac cath lab environment, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, assisting with catheterizations, and using specialized monitoring systems such as Micropace. The role is critical to ensuring high-quality patient care during complex interventions.

Job Details:

• Shift: Day shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York state nursing license in hand, at least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, proficiency in EPIC charting system, and certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrophysiology procedures, familiarity with Micropace monitoring system, and background in cardiac cath lab environment.
• Float: Staff may float to other areas as needed.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement. Ability to scrub and operate the Micropace monitoring system is required. RNs are expected to support adult and geriatric patient populations, and the position involves working in a team-oriented environment with interdisciplinary support.
