Job Summary:
A Surgical Technician specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures is sought in Morristown, New Jersey. This role involves assisting in the care of surgical patients, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during operative procedures. The technician must have a thorough understanding of surgeries, anticipate the needs of the surgeon, and ensure a sterile environment to promote safe and effective patient care.
Job Details:
- Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Schedule: Days
- Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technician; High School Graduate or GED; Graduate from an accredited program; 0 years of experience; located in or near Morristown, NJ.
- Skills: Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds; tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and/or walking.
- Additional Information: Assist in the care of the surgical patient, handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures, follow the instructions of physicians and registered nurses closely, and adhere to hospital policies related to the operating room.
