Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in an adult emergency department at a nationally recognized academic medical center. This 14-week assignment offers exposure to one of the highest-volume ERs in the country, with a focus on trauma care. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to float between units and be open to working variable schedules.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour days, 0700-1930, 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC; Florida RN license or Compact RN license at the time of submission; minimum 3 years of emergency department RN experience; recent experience at an academic medical center or Level I/II trauma center in a major metro area; minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience; minimum of 12 months spent in an emergency department setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Must have recent EPIC experience clearly listed in the submission packet. Candidates should be prepared to complete specialty-specific competency exams including EKG interpretation with a minimum score of 80%. No employment gaps greater than 30 days without explanation. All new RN hires must pass proficiency exams, including EKG.
