Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves providing direct patient care in a busy emergency department within a level III trauma center. The RN will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other acute conditions, utilizing team nursing and pod system approaches to deliver high-quality care.
Job Details
- Location: Farmington, New Mexico
- Facility Department/Cost Center: Emergency Department
- Number of Beds: 48 with flex space
- Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Medicine
- Certifications Required: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC (must be from American Heart Association)
- Experience: 2 years of experience in emergency care required
- Additional Skills and Experience: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation; preferred 2 years in emergency department settings
- Patient Population: ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, Psychiatric disorders, among others
- Qualifications: RN with ADN degree; minimum 0 years of experience required for the role
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis cases
