Job Summary:
The specialty is ORT Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician at a healthcare facility located in Bethesda, Maryland. This position involves providing surgical support as a scrub role in the operating room, with current requirements including completion of a surgical technician program (certification not required) and recent OR experience. The candidate will assist with complex procedures such as Total Joints, Orthopedic Spine, Neuro, ENT, Ophthalmology (vitrectomy), and robotics.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, starting on 08/17/2026, with a rotating day off and no set schedule, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CPR certification; completion of a surgical technician program (certification not required); current OR experience with expertise in Total Joints, Orthopedic Spine, Neuro, ENT, Ophthalmology (vitrectomy), and robotics; previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted on the coversheet and in the work history; must have at least 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC role as a Scrub Surgical Tech.
• Call: Will work call 3-4 times in an 8-week period, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
