Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse needed in Schenectady, NY. This position involves working day shifts with a schedule of 10 hours per day, totaling at least 40 hours per week. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, including proficiency with Xi DAvinci robots, general, orthopedic, bariatrics, vascular, endovascular, plastics, urology, robotic gynecology, dental, and podiatry procedures. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. The assignment includes floating to units within the candidate's competencies, with orientation provided once a month.

Job Details:

• Location: 1101 Nott Street, Schenectady, NY 12308
• Schedule: Days, 10 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid NY license, BLS certification prior to start, a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, experience with Xi DAvinci robots, general, ortho, bariatrics, vascular, endovascular, plastics, urology, robotic gynecology, dental, and podiatry.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: No block scheduling will be approved. Weekend requirement of one weekend per month. No call duties. Orientation is scheduled once a month. IVS to offer if RTO is 4 days or less, no holiday RTO, and at least 2 years experience in the specialty.
