Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Los Alamos, New Mexico. This position involves providing acute care in the emergency department of a 47-bed healthcare facility serving the northern region of the state. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with orientation scheduled weekly on Mondays.

Job Details:

• Location: Los Alamos, NM 87544
• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid emergency nursing license, at least 1 year of emergency room experience, current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification. Must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is preferred.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours weekly, starting 08/30/2026
• Additional Information: All clinical staff must have REQUIRED certifications at submission, as certifications are not available on site. The healthcare provider reserves the right to require additional certifications. All clinical staff in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the fingerprint check is being processed. The background check process involves the NM920160z ORI code, and a determination code will be generated upon background review allowing the clinician to proceed with fingerprinting.
