Description

Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) nursing specialty position is located in Harlingen, Texas. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care as a circulating nurse in the surgery department. The position requires a highly skilled healthcare professional with specific experience in surgical settings.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA within 30 days of hire and must be maintained; current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA within 30 days of hire and must be maintained; a minimum of two years of prior Perioperative experience, specifically in the surgery room as an RN Circulator.
Preferred Qualifications: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification from the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Additional Information: This position requires on-call availability. Experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or Recovery is not applicable for this role.
