Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) for a surgical unit located in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves supporting a busy operating room environment with a focus on neuro, transplant, and orthopedic/spine procedures. The position requires a commitment to team collaboration and accountability, with flexibility to work day and evening shifts as needed.

Job Details:

• Location: 501 E Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO 80113
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• Certifications/Education: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; prior experience as a CST is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital experience as a CST; no specific years of experience specified.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications (CST, BLS), Level I and trauma experience, orthopedic/joint experience, Meditech electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Unit Information:
  • Number of Beds: 14 ORs
  • Staff: 70 FTEs
  • Types of staff: Day shift OR team includes charge nurse, RN, surgical tech, PCTs, ATs, Trauma team
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1 (estimated, not guaranteed)
  • Typical procedures: Neuro, transplants, orthopedic/spine surgeries
• Additional Information:
  • Flexibility to work day/evening hours as needed
  • On-call requirements: 1-2 shifts from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. per week
  • The unit utilizes Meditech EMR and has advanced equipment and technology.
  • Known for experienced staff and a team-oriented environment with a focus on accountability and expertise.
